Approaching our 40s, my partner and I sought an adrenaline-fueled escape to make the most of the summer sun, leading us to the dynamic town of Lincoln, New Hampshire. Nestled in the heart of the White Mountains, this picturesque destination promised not only breathtaking scenery but also the perfect playground for a fast-paced and adventurous weekend.
Arriving on a warm August Friday, the town of Lincoln was alive with the buzz of summer activities. Our chosen lodging, InnSeason Resorts Pollard Brook was surrounded by lush greenery, set the stage for a weekend of heart-pounding adventures. The anticipation of the thrill ahead mingled with the summer warmth, creating an exciting atmosphere.
Saturday morning kicked off with a high-flying adventure at Loon Mountain's zipline course. Soaring through the treetops with panoramic views of the White Mountains was an exhilarating start to our day, setting the tone for the adrenaline-packed weekend ahead. The sheer speed and breathtaking heights left us craving more.
After conquering the skies, we shifted gears to explore the rugged terrains on a thrilling Sno-Go ride. The White Mountain National Forest trails offered the perfect backdrop for our off-road escapade. The combination of speed, mud, and the breathtaking scenery made for an unforgettable adventure that left us craving more.

Saturday morning kicked off with Thrillsville an iconic self-guided course that included bridges, cargo nets, rope ladders, a treehouse and more, all towering over Main Street Location in downtown Lincoln. It also includes a 50-foot repel down an auto-belay! Let me tell you that this is a quick, fun way to get that adrenaline boost and prepare for the challenges of Thrillsville. The Aerial Park was just the excitement we need to start our day!

Eager to explore the rugged beauty of the White Mountains, we geared up for a thrilling mountain biking expedition. The challenging trails of Franconia Notch State Park provided the perfect terrain for our two-wheeled adventure. The adrenaline rush of navigating the twists and turns amid lush forests and rocky paths added an extra layer of excitement to our day.

After a quick break to refuel at a local café, we headed to the Pemigewasset River for a white-water rafting adventure. The rushing rapids and exhilarating twists and turns made for an unforgettable afternoon of adrenaline-charged water escapades. As the sun dipped below the mountain peaks, we opted for a sunset hike up Cannon Mountain. The panoramic views of the surrounding landscape bathed in the golden hues of the evening sun provided a serene contrast to the day's high-octane activities. The sense of accomplishment and the breathtaking sunset made for a perfect end to an action-packed day.
Sunday morning called for one last burst of excitement before bidding farewell to Lincoln. We embarked on a thrilling aerial tramway ride up Cannon Mountain, offering unparalleled views of the White Mountains from the summit. The crisp mountain air and the sense of being on top of the world provided a fitting conclusion to our adventurous weekend.
